Mitsubishi FR-A800 — E.THT Drive (Inverter) Overload
Occurs when the drive's own overload curve is exceeded. Sustained high current or wrong sizing is the cause.

Symptoms
- E.THT under sustained high load
- Heats up then trips
- Recurs at the sizing limit
Probable Causes
- Drive undersized for motor/load
- Sustained overcurrent
- Wrong V/F or load profile
Checkpoints
- Log the current profile
- Verify drive-motor-load match
- Check mechanical resistances
Solution
If load is continuously at the limit, a larger drive is recommended. For sudden/false trips, the board's cooling/measurement circuit is tested.
