Raised when the heatsink temperature reaches the pre-alarm level. Fan, airflow or ambient temperature is the cause.

Probable Causes
- Fan faulty/dusty
- Air duct blockage
- High ambient temperature
Checkpoints
- Verify fan and airflow
- Clean the heatsink
- Measure ambient temperature
Solution
The fan is replaced; if a temperature-sensor (thermistor) fault is suspected, the board is tested.
