CANopen is a standard protocol on the robust CAN bus that defines each device's parameters in an Object Dictionary. It is common in servos, I/O and drives.

- Parameter read/write (configuration)
On a CAN bus, termination (120 Ω at both ends) and correct baud rate are critical; if missing, communication is unstable.
